Raising A Wall

Had plenty of time to think about how to get this two story balloon framed wall from horizontal to vertical.  This is the only one that's two stories tall, the rest will be single story and stacked up.

Amazing how you were able to take pictures as you were thinking about the wall going up. Do you think you could have done it while chewing gum too?

I hate to think what might have happened if AM took that moment to come walking up the drive with your toasted sandwich.

AnnaMarie brought me a Botacchi sandwich sometime between the second and third pictures. It took about 5 hours. The camera stayed put and I just snapped a pic every water break. The first part is just getting it off the ground and slowly building up blocks . The last part, my rope system with a 4:1 advantage took over. The middle part was scary---the ropes were only a safety (which may or may not have held), and the boards propping it up didn't want to stay in place after a certain point.

Hey, that's how I did my shed. My help didn't show. I didn't get mine quit square though. Wabi.
