Al Gore is full of crap

``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````This is my home. In San Diego County. We live 30 miles north of Mexico, and 34 miles from the Pacific ocean. We're just about as southwest as you can get and still be on land. This picture was after two days of melt, too. Not that I'm complaining; everyone had a ball and the sledding was good, but te sooner people see A.G. was just a guy who is trying to find his place in the world after losing to GWB, and not a climatologist, the better.
I'm going to think of a way to tie the coming ice age to corporate greed and run for president.
Heh, don't forget the coldest Winter in 100 years in China, and freak snow across the Middle East.
This has been an unsually cold winter so far.
Insulation is the key. No matter what the weather, if your house is well insulated, you win.
That's our plan anyway. In the 50's when our house was built, heating was cheap and they didn't bother too much with insulating. Every time we do anything to the house, we are insulating it to the gills!
You can tell the new bedroom is better insulated because the heat we lose from the rest of the house melts all the frost off the roof everywhere but over the new room :)
Oh - I like your snowy landscape.
Diana's favorite saying, "Dang this global warming!" while she's putting on long johns, wool socks & gloves to go to school.
Both our mountain houses are super-insulated. The big one is 2x6 walls w/r-19, then 1 1/2" foam board all over the house then the siding. All dual glazed windows. Attic and crawlspace all insulated. Now if I could just get my wife and kids to shut the front door.......
